We are fully aware that gyms are everywhere BUT they are not for everyone. Fitness and looking after ourselves however.. should be part of all our lives where possible.
At Harris Collective, we thrive off looking after our bodies and minds through consistent daily fitness. We do not shout, shame or expect everyone to look perfect 365 days a year.
Our approach to healthy living, is healthy movement. With healthy movement, comes confidence, with confidence comes happiness and a want for progression.
About Me
“I’ll keep this short and to the point.
I used to work in property, thought I was enjoying it, but it was slowly boring me beyond distraction. Turns out I have to move to think.
When I was younger, I wasn’t particularly sporty but did love gymnastics and breakdancing.
As I got older, I started to lose my physical abilities that I’d gained when I was dancing and somersaulting about the place.
Trying to do the few sporty things I enjoyed suddenly became painful and a task.
As I left the property world, I aspired to regain some of my flexibility and skills from my young years.
It is with this thought that it dawned on me that if I am struggling to move the way I want to, at the age of 28, surely other people of a similar age and older must be in the same boat.
So I became a personal trainer. The best decision I’ve ever made.
From both a career and personal point of view, getting people stronger, more flexible, more confident, and above all ,happier within themselves, is the true sense of ‘I live and breathe my work’.
Thanks to my outstanding training I received from working in medical facilities in London, branching out on my own has been tough yet hugely rewarding, for both my clients and me. “
